Hyper 8.5 & Batlle wins the Spanish Championship, Again!
Hyper 8.5 with driver Robert Batlle made it 3 wins from 3 rounds thereby taking his 3rd consecutive Spanish Championship title. Capital city Madrid played host this weekend to the 3rd round, the weather was fantastic with blazing sunshine and 35c. Qualifying saw Hyper 8.5 Borja Hernandez TQ, with wins in the 2nd and 4th rounds. The semis would prove decisive however, with Hernandez bowing out due to clutch problems early on. The final proved to be a three-way fight between Batlle, Richi Gomez and Daniel Vega, Batlle opened up an initial lead of 12 sec, which he kept on increasing as Vega suffered problems and Gomez, on his competitive debut for HongNor/Jammin X1-x had to settle for 2nd place a lap down. Batlle's three wins means he re claim's his national title making it 3 titles in a row, the 4th and last round of the national championships will take place at Batlle's home track in St. Oliva. neo-buggy.net

Hyper 8.5 & ST Dominates 2008 Nordic XRay Challenge
A fantastic weekend for Christoffer Svensson, dominating the whole race from start to finish. 2x TQ, 2x pole position and wins in both buggy and truggy was the order of the day. In the buggy main, starting as car 1 Svensson lead, was 2nd on the 2nd lap, then then grabbed the lead and drove away.

In truggy Svensson started out front but was passed by Hazlewood, they played cat and mouse for a while, but fast consistent driving and good pitstops gifted Svensson the lead on lap 16, Hazlewood had 2nd place wrapped up until lap 38 where center diff issues (melted!) forced him to retire. neobuggy.com

Picco .12 Wins the 2008 Worlds Warm-up

Daniele Ielasi won the World Championship 2008 1/10th On-Road Sedan - Warm Up powered by a Picco .12 EVO 2 Red-Dot engine.  In the U.S. market, Picco Red-Dot is winning many of the major and local races.  With a street price of only $180.00 USD why would you pay more; like $250.00+ for any .12 from RB or JP or NR or GRP?  They are not any faster!

Great Job,
Daniele!
