Well done Felipe :)
How do you rate the steering and agility compared to the Hyper 8, now you've raced it a couple of times? |

| Awesome dude! I've got my built and ready, but it's just too hot here at the moment (like 104 deg) to go outside and run it! |

My son Seth and I raced our 9's yesterday for the first time. He ran Intermediate class and I ran Pro. He qualified 8th, worked his way thru all the way to 2nd and faded at the end to finish 4th. Not to shabby for a 8 year old. I qualified 10th in the A-main (7 min quals and ran out of fuel on the new engine) I managed to work up to 3rd place when I came off of a double wrong and broke the front shock cap with 11 min to go. I ended up in 5th out of 12 cars.
I am really happy with the new rides as I am usually able to run in the top 5 and in the first race I am still on pace with a top 5 finish. Now to work on set ups and driving skills! |

| I left one of our buggy's with 1k in the rear and by the end of practice we were both running 2k in the rear like you had suggested. |

| So it sounded like you are very satisfied with the car, how did it handle the rutted sections? |

| You and I talked about that a little as that was one of my concerns. I did lighten my oils due to a 50 degree racing conditions. I used 32.5 in front and 30 in the back. It did great through the stutter bumps. The sweeper after the straight away was rutted out bad by the time the final came. and I passed a few guys while they were tumbling. It was controllable but not as effortless as the 8.5 was in the rough. I had a few guys ask me about the buggy after they watched it on the track and some expected it to be very bad in the rough sections and when it wasn't they couldn't help but ask about it. I was also using 2.0mm front sway bar and a 2.3mm rear sway bar, which should make it easy for the car to catch ruts. I can't wait to get the 2.2 and 2.4 for it. I think it will be a better compromise between side bite and rough track stability. I did experience some unloading in the corner due to the light rear sway I was using. You could watch the car roll to the outside rear tire and then flatten out and lose rear bite just after the center of the apex. Heavier sway along with oils should help just didn't have time to test it all. |

| I ran my H9 yesterday at Rev. in amateur and TQ'd but finished 2nd in the race, bobbled a few times that put in in forth at the start of the race and got up to second was on the leader a double away and I bobble it again, I fell back as far as 30 seconds and closed upto 3 seconds, it was an intense race I had to calm myself down and get it together but I had some good fun. |
